The World Endurance Championship is back! This weekend Hypercars and LGMT3 cars will be taking part in the 6 Hours of Imola, the second round of WEC, at the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari.
WEC will be racing in Imola for the first time ever and to make things even more exciting it’s Ferrari home race. This weekend is definitely going to be an unforgettable experience for everyone attending.
But where do I park? How will I get to the Autodromo? Is there anything to do beside watch the WEC race? Everything you need to know to organize you trip is here: let’s take a look.
How do I get to Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari?
First things first, you need to arrive to the Autodromo.
If you’re arriving at Imola by train, once at the station you can choose:
- you can walk for 2 km which will take you to the venue in about 25 minutes.
- you can take a bus: it will cost you 2 euros and takes about 20 minutes.
Where do I park?
In case you chose to come to Imola by car, unattended paid parking spaces have been organized in the vicinity of the Autodromo. In some cases you can make reservations which will allow you access within the opening hours.
Here’s the daily fares:
- Bus € 60.00
- Bus up to 16 seats € 20.00
- Car up to 9 seats € 15.00
- Motorcycle € 7.00
- Caravan / Camper € 22.00
Here’s the list of the parking spaces you can reserve if you came to see WEC at Imola.
- P10 – Via Graziadei: active Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
- P12 – via Patarini: active Friday, Saturday and Sunday
- P13 – il Meleto via Tiro a Segno: active Sunday
- P14 – Lager Nazisti via Tiro a Segno: active Sunday
- P15 – Complesso Sante Zennaro via Pirandello: active Sunday
The parking lot for Buses / Coaches is exclusively P12. You can make your reservation here.
On this map below you can see other parking lots: P11, P Ragazzi ’99, P Cavina, P Ortomercato. These ones are not reservable but will be active on Sunday from 6 am.
Free parking spaces have been set up in Piazzale Leonardo da Vinci for the disabled people with a regular ticket. However, they will also have free access to the other parking spaces shown on the map (click here to download it).
Where should I sit during the 6 Hours of Imola?
The WEC ticket is a general admission one, meaning that you’ll have the unique chance to see the race from different places and find out which one is your favourite. Here’s ours, where the cars slow down and you take a better look at them:
