About the programme
A collaboration between the Ferrari Driver Academy, the Iron Dames team and the ACI Scuola Federale, FIA Girls on Track is an initiative born to “detect and nurture the female racing talent of the future of the best 12-16 years old female drivers from around the world“.
Starting on September 4th at the circuit of Franciacorta, in Italy, all candidates will take part in a training camp, at the end of which the best Junior driver will get the chance to compete in karting on an international level in 2024, backed by the Ferrari Driver Academy. As for the Senior drivers, four of them will advance to a second camp, held at the Fiorano racetrack in Maranello. The best one of the four will become a member of the FDA and compete – with support from the Academy and Iron Dames – in the 2024 Formula 4 season.
Winners of the previous editions were Maya Weug (2020), Laura Camps (2021), and Aurelia Nobels (2022).
